Equipment shutdowns allow recording the periods during which an asset is out of service.
The record can be made independently from Equipment Stoppages or directly from a work order when the stoppage is related to a maintenance intervention.
Register a stop from Equipment Stops
- Go to Operations > Equipment Stoppages .
- Select Create .
- Select the affected asset.
- Report the relevant information regarding the arrest.
- Indicate whether the stop is scheduled or unscheduled.
- Save the record.

Complete the stop details
Asset
Select the asset that is out of service.
Start of the stop
Indicate the date and time the equipment stoppage began.
End of stop
Please report the date and time of completion when the equipment becomes available again.
If the stop continues, the stop remains active until its closure is recorded.
Scheduled stop
Indicate whether the arrest was planned in advance.
This classification allows us to differentiate between scheduled stops and those that originate unexpectedly.
Register a stop from a work order
When the arrest is related to an intervention, it can also be recorded directly from the work order.
- Go to Operations > Work Orders .
- Locate the corresponding order.
- Select Equipment Stop .
- Complete the arrest details.
- Incorporate other equipment when it is affected by the same shutdown.
- Save the record.

📌 Registering the stop from a work order allows the stop to be linked to the corresponding maintenance intervention.
Close a stop
When the equipment becomes available again, complete the stop closure to record the completion of the stop.
Once closed, the stop no longer appears as active and its information becomes available for historical analysis and maintenance indicators.
