The request categories can be configured to work with managers , allowing the centralization of requirements management in specific users.
When a category uses this configuration, the manager is automatically assigned taking into account the asset's location and the user's associated location.
Assignment of the person in charge
When creating a request belonging to a category configured with managers, Consuman Evolution automatically determines the user responsible for its management according to the defined conditions.
The person in charge is responsible for managing the request and can take appropriate action on the request.

Change the manager
Automatic assignment can only be modified when the user has the corresponding permission.
To change it:
- Go to Operations > Requests .
- Select the relevant application.
- Edit the assigned person.
- Select the new manager.
- Save the changes.
📌 To modify this assignment, the user role must have the "Allow Assign Manager" permission.
Application Management
The person in charge can centralize the actions necessary to move forward with the request, including:
- Edit the request.
- Incorporate tasks.
- Generate or associate work orders.
- Resolve the request without a work order.
Person in charge and authorizing
The person in charge and the authorizing person perform different functions within the application process.
Being in charge of a request does not automatically make the user an authorizing officer. Management and authorization are separate permissions and responsibilities.
