In Operations > Programs, the different maintenance plans are created for the assets registered in Evolution.
When entering Create, the Name field must be completed - in order to distinguish one plan from another - and from New its details are generated.
The following fields must be completed:
- Asset Type: You must choose the type to be detailed in the plan
- Assets: You can choose all assets of a type, some, or at least one asset
- Task: the task to be performed on the asset (or on the component, if a particular one has been determined) is indicated
- Trigger Type: how this task will be executed
- Activator: Depending on the type of activator, the required data is completed.
There are different types of activators:
- By time: this implies that the task will be executed according to a specific time period, indicating:
- Repeat every: number of time units
- Unit of Time: day, week (checklist - periodicity), month or year
- Base date: from when the defined amount of time begins to be counted

- By frequency: the preventive maintenance task is related to a meter (see operation > measurements) linked to a usage frequency. The following must be indicated:
- Meter
- Repeat every:

- By time and frequency: combines the requirements of the two previous ones so that a task is executed after a certain amount of time or meter value – whichever comes first –
- Dual frequency: the task is activated by two different meters.
- Per event: task conditioned on data from a measurement, failure, or response
