In Consumer Evolution, a plan represents a pending maintenance task that must be performed on an asset on a specific date.
Schedules can originate from work requests, maintenance programs, or scheduled activities created directly from Operations > Schedules .
What are plans for?
Planning allows you to organize the tasks that need to be performed and prepare the necessary resources before generating a work order.
From Operations > Planning, it is possible to:
- Check the pending tasks.
- Define or modify the planned date.
- Allocate resources, such as users and supplies.
- Define whether a task will be internal or external.
- Generate a new work order.
- Assign tasks to an existing work order.
- Make modifications to multiple plans simultaneously.

The requirements that continue through a maintenance process can generate plans to organize the necessary work before its execution.
Programs
When the conditions defined in the triggers of a program are met, Evolution generates the schedules corresponding to the configured tasks.
Activities as of [date]
It is also possible to generate plans directly for a specific date using a date-based activity , without needing them to come from a request or a program beforehand.
Visualization methods
The schedules can be viewed in two ways.
Grid view
It allows you to view the plans in list format and perform actions on one or more tasks.
Calendar view
It allows you to view tasks according to their planned date and check their distribution over time.
The colors used in the calendar allow you to identify different states and can be viewed from the Information option.

Internal and external tasks
During planning, it can also be defined whether a task will be executed with internal resources or through an external provider.
This condition subsequently determines what resources can be allocated for its execution.
Relationship with work orders
A plan represents a task pending execution.
When it is time to move forward with the work, it can be used to generate a new work order or be assigned to an existing work order.
