Create a date-based activity

Date-based activities allow you to generate one or more plans for a specific date, without needing to come from a previous job request or program.

They are used when it is necessary to directly plan a maintenance task on one or more assets.

It is also possible to start the creation from the calendar view, directly selecting the day on which you want to schedule the activity.

Complete the activity details

Select the type of asset on which the task will be performed.

Select one or more assets corresponding to the indicated type.

Select the task that should be performed on the chosen assets.

When maintenance pertains to a specific part of the asset, the corresponding component may be used.

📌 It is not mandatory for an asset to have components in order to plan a task. The task can be directly associated with the asset.

Once the activity has been created, the generated tasks are available in Operations > Planning to continue managing them.

From there it is possible to allocate resources, modify the planning and generate or assign tasks to a work order.
