The meters allow recording values associated with the use or operation of assets and can be used as a reference for maintenance programs configured by frequency.
To create a meter, define its identification, unit of measurement, and behavior according to the type of values that need to be recorded.
Create a meter
- Go to Operations > Measurements > Meters .
- Select Create .
- Complete the meter data.
- Define the corresponding behavior.
- Save the record.

Complete the meter data
Name
Complete the name or description that allows the meter to be identified.
Unit of measurement
Select the unit used to record the meter values.
If the required unit does not yet exist, create it from:
- Quick access available in Measurement Unit .
- Settings > Parameters > Create , selecting Unit of measurement in Parameter type .
Define the meter's behavior
Depending on the intended use, configure the corresponding option.
✅It is cumulative
Enable " It is cumulative" when the values represent a cumulative amount, such as operating hours or kilometers traveled.
The accumulated meters are those used in programs configured with frequency triggers.
✅Enables quotas
Enable Enables dimensions when it is necessary to control the values recorded within certain measurement ranges.
This configuration allows you to set lower, medium, and upper reference values.

Once created, the meter is available to record readings associated with the assets.
When a cumulative meter is used in a frequency-based program, the recorded readings allow the value used to determine the next executions of maintenance tasks to be updated.
