The readings allow recording the values of the meters associated with the assets.
Keeping these values up to date is especially important when meters are used in frequency maintenance programs, as the readings allow you to determine when to generate the next plans.
Record a reading manually
- Go to Operations > Measurements > Readings .
- Select Create .
- Complete the reading data.
- Save the record.

Asset
Select the asset to which the reading corresponds.
Meter
Select the meter whose value you wish to record.
Worth
Enter the value corresponding to the reading.
Other ways to record readings
In addition to manual upload from Measurements > Readings , values can be recorded using other procedures.
From a work order
Readings can be recorded during feedback on a Reading -type task included in a work order.
In this way, the meter reading can be updated as part of the work being done.
Using Excel
It is also possible to record readings in bulk by importing from Excel.

Readings Edition
Only the last recorded reading can be edited.
This restriction allows for maintaining the consistency of historical values and the calculations that depend on them.
If it is necessary to correct a previous reading, subsequent readings must be deleted and recorded again with the corresponding values.
Impact on programs
When a meter is associated with a frequency program, the readings update the value used to determine when to generate a new schedule.
For this reason, recording the readings on time and in the correct manner allows the maintenance work schedule to be kept up to date.
