From the User Profile, it is possible to configure additional security options to protect access to Consuman Evolution.
Among the available options are two-factor authentication and one-time passwords , which strengthen login security and provide temporary access when assistance is needed.
Enable two-factor authentication
Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of validation to the login process.
Once enabled, after entering the username and password, a one-time code is sent to the email address associated with the account.
To activate it:
- Select the user image located in the upper right corner.
- Go to User Profile > General .
- Locate the Two-Factor Authentication section.
- Enable the Email option.
- Keep the setting enabled for use on future logins.

Log in with two-factor authentication
When authentication is enabled:
- Enter your usual email address and password.
- Check the email address associated with the account.
- Locate the received one-time code.
- Enter the requested code in Consumer Evolution.
- Complete the login.
Therefore, knowing only the user's credentials is not enough to access the account, as the code sent by email is also required.
Create a one-time password
One-time passwords allow you to generate a temporary credential so that another person can access the account without needing to know the user's regular password.
This option can be used, for example, when it is necessary to provide temporary access to an authorized person to perform support tasks.
To create it:
- Select the user's image.
- Go to User Profile > One-time passwords .
- Select the + icon.
- Enter a name that identifies who the password is for or what purpose it is being generated for.
- Select Save .
- Copy the generated password.
- Send it only to the authorized person who needs temporary access.
Name
Enter a reference that will allow you to later identify who the password was given to or for what purpose it was created.

Validity of the one-time password
The generated password is valid for 5 hours from its creation .
For security reasons, the password can only be copied once from the screen where it is generated.

⚠️ A one-time password grants access to the account in a similar way to a regular password. Share it only with authorized people and only when necessary.
View generated passwords
The one-time passwords created are recorded in a grid within User Profile > One-time Passwords .
For each record, it is possible to consult:
- Name .
- Registration date .
- Expiration date .
It is also possible to delete a password when it no longer needs to be available.
