During the migration, it is necessary to review the Materials, Traceables, Tools, and Suppliers currently registered in Consuman.

Supplies
Non-traceable materials registered in Consuman are transferred as Inputs in Consuman Evolution.
Repeated names
In Consuman, materials with the same description may exist. In Consuman Evolution, the Name must be unique .
When there are repeated names, apply the following criteria:
- If the Key was not automatically generated by Consuman, combine the key with the material description.
- If the Key was generated automatically, combine the description with the Category.
- If a name continues to be repeated, combine the description, the Category, and the Subcategory.
- If duplicates still exist, migrate a single record.
What information is being migrated?
- Clue
This corresponds to the material code in Consuman. It can be left blank.
- Name
This corresponds to the unique description of the Input.
- Category
It corresponds to the Material Category and is mandatory.
- Unit of Measurement
This corresponds to the Unit of Measurement configured in Consuman.
- Manage stock
Indicate whether the input will be used in stock management.
- Yes: it allows its use in inventory receipts.
- No: it is only allowed to be used in Work Orders for informational purposes.
Traceable
Traceable materials represent a change in concept in Consumer Evolution.
During migration, its location must be defined according to the current situation of each traceable:
- If you are assigned to a team, you are linked to that team.
- If it is located in a warehouse or supplier, it is linked to the corresponding warehouse.
- For discontinued series, it must be determined whether they will be migrated. If so, they are assigned to the last warehouse where they were stored.
What information is being migrated?
- Name
It is formed using the description and the series, so that each traceable has a unique name.
- Guy
It corresponds to the Material in Consuman category.
- Location
This refers to the equipment or warehouse where the traceable item is located.
Tools
The tools also change their management style in Consumer Evolution.
During migration, the same uniqueness considerations used for assets must be applied, keeping in mind that a tool cannot have the same name as a piece of equipment.
What information is being migrated?
- Name
It is formed using the description and the series, so that each tool has a unique name.
- Guy
It corresponds to the Tool category in Consumer.
- Location
In Consuman, the tools are not located within the layout. For this reason, a location must be defined for each one during the migration.
The selected location can correspond to a warehouse or another location previously created in Consumer Evolution.
Suppliers
Suppliers can move to Consuman Evolution while retaining their core information.
What information is being migrated?
- Clue
This corresponds to the supplier's key.
- Name
This corresponds to the supplier's description.
- Guy
This corresponds to the supplier's category in Consumer.
