In Consumer Evolution, the way tasks are classified changes.
Task types are no longer customizable and are now defined by how each task feeds back into a Work Order. For more information on this new classification, see New Task Classification .
During migration, the corresponding type must be determined from the configuration and current use of each task in Consuman.

How is the type of task determined?
To classify tasks during migration, apply the following criteria:
Only Answer
Use Single Answer when the task has:
- At least one configured response.
- The single response option is enabled.
Multiple Response
Use Multiple Response when the task has:
- At least one configured response.
- Multiple response option enabled.
Per Reading
Use By Reading when the task has an associated Unit of Measurement .
By Check
Use By Check when the task:
- It is used only in Checklist mode and does not have any configured responses or measurements.
- It is to be used only within initial or final Task Groups.
By Time/Date
Use By Time/Date when the task is used in Requests, Date-Based Activities, Preventatives, or Events and feedback is provided by date and time.
This type is also used when the current configuration does not match any of the above criteria.
By Location
Use By Location when the task is used to record a geographic location.
What happens to current task types?
Task Types configured as parameters in Consuman are not directly transferred to Consuman Evolution.
Instead, each task should be classified according to the pre-established types available in the new system.
If it is necessary to migrate this data, it can be assigned to the Specialty field or to an additional field.
